When the business changes, the people have to come with it.

I help leaders, CHROs and teams execute on strategy through change, adversity and growth, with nearly three decades of experience running the People function from the inside. Business-minded, radically direct, deeply compassionate.

How I help

How we can work together

I advise, coach and support leaders, CHROs and teams through adversity and change, so the strategy actually gets executed, especially when the stakes are high and the path is complex. There’s no off-the-shelf program: I draw on nearly three decades of experience across industries and business cycles to shape the right approach for your situation.

For executives & senior leaders

Executive coaching

One-on-one coaching for leaders stepping into bigger roles, leading through change, or carrying a lot of pressure. Together we build the steadiness and clarity to make good decisions and keep the strategy moving, grounded in the CARE framework.

  • Leading with heart and mind, and inspiring outcomes in a more human way
  • Navigating organizational and stakeholder dynamics, including the politics
  • Leading through work/life integration challenges, diversity and adversity
  • Mental health, women in leadership, motherhood and neurodivergence
For CHROs & executive teams

Advisor through change

A trusted, experienced thinking partner for CHROs and executive teams leading any kind of change. Using the PACE framework, I help people embrace the change and succeed through it, and translate the people side into the language of business value, especially in high-stress, complex moments.

  • A candid sounding board on the hardest people decisions
  • People priorities built backward from the business strategy
  • Sequencing change so the organization can absorb it
For leadership teams

Leadership & team effectiveness

Custom programs and offsites that build managers, leaders and teams people want to work for and can count on in hard times, grounded in the CARE framework.

  • Team effectiveness, alignment and offsites
  • Leadership development programs
  • Inclusive, engaged cultures that retain top talent
  • Keeping teams focused, resilient and executing when pressure peaks

The approach

Two frameworks, tailored to you

In high-stress, complex moments, strategy rarely stalls in the plan. It stalls in the people. My work helps leaders and teams turn strategy into clear priorities, ownership and decisions, and keep executing through crisis, setbacks and sustained uncertainty.

No two organizations face the same moment, so no two engagements look the same. I bring a breadth of experience and knowledge to customize the right approach, anchored in two frameworks: CARE for how leaders lead and manage, and PACE for how organizations change.

CARE, for leadership and management

My framework for human-centered leadership and effective teams.

C

Create clarity

People need to understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what it means for them.

A

Be authentic

Be honest about what you know and what you don’t.

R

Relate

Acknowledge that change is hard. People are navigating loss, uncertainty and disruption. Don’t pretend it’s fun.

E

Enable

Give people the information, skills, support and permission to move forward.

CARE ≠ Coddle. Caring isn’t protecting people from change. It’s giving them the tools to navigate it. You can care deeply and still make hard decisions.

PACE, for every change effort

A practical path for helping people embrace change and succeed through it, whether it’s a restructuring, a new strategy or a merger.

P

Prepare

Understand the people side before anything moves: who people trust, what matters to them, and what you can’t afford to break.

A

Align

Get leaders on the same page about the why, the what and the order things change, so people hear one story.

C

Care

Lead the humans through it with CARE: clarity, honesty, empathy and the support to keep going.

E

Embed

Make the change stick in everyday habits, decisions and ways of working, long after the announcement.

Kami Bond

About

Kami Bond

Kami Bond is a people-first, customer-centric organizational change leader, executive coach, professor, and passionate advocate for making work more human. With nearly three decades of people leadership experience, she has built her career at the intersection of business transformation, people strategy, and human potential.

Most recently, Kami served as Chief People Officer at PartsSource, where she was a member of the executive leadership team of a high-growth, private-equity-backed healthcare technology company. Her career also includes senior people and talent leadership roles at Level Ex, Uptake, Aon Hewitt, and GE Healthcare. Along the way, she has scaled organizations, integrated acquisitions, transformed cultures, developed leaders, and built People functions that deliver business results while creating meaningful careers.

Kami is known for being business-minded, radically direct, deeply compassionate—and willing to challenge conventional thinking about what leadership and HR should look like. She believes HR can be both a fierce advocate for people and a driver of business performance and that authenticity, inclusion, neurodiversity, resilience, and high expectations don't have to be competing ideas.

Kami holds an MS in Learning & Organizational Change from Northwestern University and, as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Delaware, helps develop the next generation of human capital leaders and changemakers. Her work increasingly explores leadership, human behavior, applied neuroscience, resilience, and how people adapt and thrive through change and adversity.

Her philosophyGrowth rarely happens in the comfortable. Stay curious. Lead authentically. Remain humble. Have the courage to create conditions where people can evolve—because that’s what humans do. And when the pressure is highest, people need clarity, steadiness and care the most. That’s when strategy is won or lost.
